Woman allegedly dies while locked up in confinement for 3 days
A woman whose identity is still undisclosed has died while she was allegedly locked up in a solitary room for three days by her husband in Mariri Quarters in Kano Metropolis.
The corpse has already been brought out by security operatives who discovered it following a tip-off by neighbors who perceived offensive odours from the decomposing body.
DSP Abdullahi Haruna, the Spokesman of the Kano State Police Command, confirmed the development.

Speaking further, DSP Haruna disclosed that investigation has been launched into the matter. As at the time of filling this report, the corpse was said to have been evacuated to the mortuary.
