Wizkid reacts after losing two Grammy nominations
Wizkid, the popular Nigerian superstar, has broken silence after losing two Grammy nominations.
Recall that Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ lost in the category of Best Global music album to Angelique Kidjo’s ‘Mother Nature’
His popular song ‘Essence’ also did not win the Best Global music performance.
This has generated reactions as some Nigerians queried why the recording academy failed to recognise Essence.
But, Wizkid, while reacting via his Instagram page, congratulated Angelique Kidjo on her win.

He wrote: “Love to my brother, a true King @realblackcoffee and Queen @angeliquekidio for the wins and for consistently shining light to the continent.
“African music rising.”
