Thomas Tuchel, the Chelsea manager, has commented on Kai Havertz’s role against Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday.
Tuchel also said that Havertz arrives very naturally in the box, adding that the Germany international has a comfortable finishing.
Havertz played the number 9 role for Chelsea against Marcelo Bielsa’s side as both teams played 0-0 draw at Elland Road.
Speaking on Havertz’s role after the game, Tuchel told reporters at his post-match press conference, “He was pretty much the same role he had against Everton, I feel him very comfortable there.
“He likes to drop into half-spaces from the high position.
“He arrives very naturally in the box, comfortable in finishing, he can clearly play as a number nine or a half striker or a winger.”
