Tiv group blasts Buhari regime over Kukah’s Christmas message

A group known as Concerned Tiv Ancestry and Elite on Tuesday commended the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Bishop Mathew Kukah, for his courage to stand strong and bold to say the truth to authority at a time when it was very unfashionable to do so.
The spokesman for the group, Gideon Inyom, in a statement issued in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, said the present regime owed the nation an explanation as to where it was headed, stressing that the nation was actually journeying into darkness. He added, “We are proud to say that we adopt this homily (of Bishop Kukah) as a true and objective admonishment to the President and megaphone the contents of this message to be a creed that will cause a change to this menace that has engulfed this nation heading to its doom.”
