Solskjaer reacts to Man Utd 1-0 win against AC Milan, speaks about Ibrahimovic

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Manchester United manager, has paid tribute to AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, following his side’s Europa League round of 16 second-leg 1-0 win against the Serie A giants on Thursday night.

The Man Utd manager described Ibrahimovic as a ‘fantastic and very strong player,’ adding that he managed to defend against the Swedish international at San Siro.

Recall that the EPL club defeated AC Milan in Italy, thanks to Paul Pogba’s second-half goal.

The Red Devils qualified for the Europa League last-8 on 2-1 aggregate, having played a 1-1 draw in the first leg last week.

“Zlatan‘s a fantastic player and very, very strong, and he knows what he’s doing out there, so you always have to be on your toes and read the situations in a good way,” Solskjaer said at his post-match.
