SA Sustainable Development holds interactive session with Imo Concerned Citizens Group
As part of their efforts to contribute in the rapid development of Imo State, an advocacy group for good governance, the Imo Concerned Citizens ICC has held an interactive session with the Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals and Humanitarian Services. Hon Princess Christina Ude.
The meeting held on Thursday at the New Owerri area of the State capital, was the second of such gatherings with Imo Government agencies on the same day.
While welcoming the group, Hon Ude expressed happiness on their finding time to come for the meeting which was geared towards the development efforts in Imo State.
She restated that any group with developmental ideas would always be welcomed, just as she has done for those coming from the Diaspora. Her area of interest was later conveyed to the members present, which include, good health, quality Education and many others.
In his response, the leader and convener of the group, Hon. Chike Devine thanked the Special Adviser for receiving the ICC members and told her of their readiness to partner with the Agency in order to bring to fruition her dream of a better Imo as expected by the governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The gathering finally came to an end after a question and answer session.
