Balarabe Musa, a frontline Northern politician and former Kaduna State Governor, has been buried.
The former Governor was buried in his home at Angwan Rimi area of the state, on Wednesday.
The burial of the elder statesman was disclosed to a correspondent by an insider who was in attendance.
The elder statesman died in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to a source, “Balarabe Musa has just been buried directly behind his house in Angwan Rimi”.
Musa’s death was disclosed by former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Dani via his Twitter handle, on Wednesday.
“Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his souls and grant him Aljanna firdausi. Amin,” Sani wrote.
The deceased was elected governor of Kaduna State in 1979 but was later impeached.
Musa was considered a progressive and worked with people of like minds to mobilise against the military junta of late Sani Abacha.
