Pope Francis requests COVID-19 vaccines to reach everyone worldwide
Pope Francis, the Catholic Pontiff, has asked that the vaccine against COVID-19 be made available to every person in the world, DPA reports.
The Pope stated this during his Christmas message on Friday.
The supreme pontiff further prayed for an end to global suffering.
“We are all in the same boat”, he said from the Benediction Hall at the Apostolic Palace.
He prayed for those who have suffered due to the pandemic, as well as victims of domestic violence.
The head of the Catholic Church also offered supplications for victims of crisis, terrorism and war.
The Pope also called for peace and ceasefires in all areas of conflict.
