Omokri warns of Boko Haram replicating Taliban situation in Nigeria
A former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has warned that Boko Haram may replicate the Taliban situation in Nigeria.
Omokri further said just like the Taliban, the twelve Super Tucano Jets purchased by the Buhari administration may belong to Boko Haram terrorists very soon.
The former Jonathan aide was reacting to the current events in Afghanistan where the Talban took over the government on Sunday.
Recall that Afghanistan plunged into turmoil as Taliban took over the country when they invaded Kabul, the nation’s capital.
This is coming after the United States of America pulled out its military after spending about two decades in the war ravaged country.
“Nigeria bought 12 Super Tucano jets from the US for $593 million. The Taliban got them for free by defeating the US and the Afghan government,” Omokri tweeted.
“With the way Buhari romances Boko Haram, I just pray Nigeria’s 12 Super Tucano jets will not become their property one day!”
