Oliver Kahn reacts to Lewandowski leaving after Bayern Munich’s elimination by Villarreal

Oliver Kahn, the Germany legend, has insisted that Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski will be at the club next season as Villarreal eliminates the Bavarians from the Champions League on Tuesday.
Lewandowski’s current deal with Bayern Munich will expire in the summer of 2023.
The 33-year-old has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent weeks.
Reports in Poland earlier in the week suggested Lewandowski had told Bayern Munich’s chief executive Kahn he planned to join the Bundesliga giants and had agreed on personal terms with Barcelona.
But Kahn has now insisted that Bayern would be ‘crazy’ to let the Poland striker leave.
“We definitely have Robert with us for another season,” Kahn told Amazon Prime Deutschland.

“We know what we have in him and we are relaxed about it. Apparently, there is a competition out there: “Who will tell the biggest nonsense story about Robert Lewandowski?
“Talks will continue. We are not crazy and are [not] discussing the transfer of a player who scores between 30 and 40 goals with us every season.”
