Obasanjo gives kudos to late Tanzanian President, John Magufuli

Olusegun Obasanjo, the Former President, has described the late President of Tanzania, John Magufuli, as one who acquitted himself as an African leader of great distinction to his country.

The Ex-Nigerian leader said the deceased devoted his time to several infrastructural developments in Tanzania and across Africa.

Obasanjo’s Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, said this in a press release.

According to him, “As a statesman, profound thinker, tactician and patriot, President Magufuli devoted his time to the service of Tanzania in particular and our continent in general.

“Magufuli made noteworthy contributions to several infrastructural developments in such areas as standard-gauge railway to connect the country with its neighbours, major highways and a bus system in the commercial hub of Dar-es-Salaam.
