Nnamdi Kanu reacts to attack on Owerri correctional centre

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the attack on a correctional centre in Imo State by yet to be identified hoodlums.

Recall that AmbrosyMediaInfo had reported that the Owerri correctional centre on early Monday morning was attacked, setting the place on fire and freeing inmates.

In his reaction, the IPOB leader, in a tweet on his official Twitter handle, said no one deserves to be in prison in Nigeria.

According to Kanu, if the killer herdsmen and the Boko Haram insurgents could be arrested, freed and rehabilitated, same gesture should be extended to other prisoners in the country.
