634 more cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, in 22 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 154,476.
NCDC made the confirmation on Thursday night while giving the daily report on its official website.
According to the report, about six patients died of COVID-19 complication in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded fatalities to 1,891.
The report reads: “634 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria;
“Our discharges today include 236 community recoveries in Lagos State and 79 community recoveries in Imo State managed in line with guidelines”.
Recall that the previous day was 571 fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) as confirmed by NCDC in 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
