Brazilian and Paris Saint-Germain star player, Neymar, has on Thursday attained a historic feat in an international friendly game between Brazil and Senegal, which ended 1-1 at the Singapore Stadium.
With this achievement, Neymar has now become the seventh player to win 100 caps for Brazil after the Selecao drew against the Senegalese National football men team. This is according to BBC Sport.
Among other Brazilians to have earlier achieved the same feat, include: Cafu (142), Roberto Carlos (125), Dani Alves (117), Lucio (105), Claudio Taffarel (101) Robinho (100).
During the game with Senegal, it was Roberto Firmino that put Brazil ahead with a lovely goal from Gabriel Jesus’ assist.
The Equalizer came after Sadio Mane was fouled at the eighteen yard box, resulting in a penalty, which was quickly taken by Bristol City attacker, Famara Diedhiou to draw level.
On line to take on Brazil in the next friendly game on Sunday at the same Singapore venue is another West African football giant, Nigeria.
