NCDC confirms 1,056 fresh COVID-19 cases, 21 additional deaths in Nigeria

1,056 new cases of coronavirus, (COVID-19) have been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The new figure brings the total number of confirmed infection in the country so far to 141, 447.

NCDC made the announcement on Tuesday night while giving its daily report on its website.

The health agency also confirmed 21 fatalities due to COVID-19 complications as total number of deaths has jumped to 1,694.
