Jose Maurinho, the Tottenham Hotspur manager, has reportedly informed the President of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez that he is at the moment ‘fed up’ with Gareth Bale.
Recall that Bale returned to Spurs last summer and is due to spend the entire 2020-21 campaign on loan with the Premier League club before returning to the Spanish capital.
The Wales international has failed to make his mark for the London giants this term, though, contributing just four goals in 15 appearances in all competitions, while he has netted just once in six Premier League outings.
The 31-year-old’s commitment has been called into question, while a recent misunderstanding following an instagram post from the attacker is thought to have led to more issues between the Welshman and Mourinho.
According to Defensa Central, the Spurs manager has told Madrid president Perez that he is ‘fed up’ with the former Southampton youngster and has expressed his ‘discontent’ and ‘disappointment’ with the situation.
Bale’s contract at Real Madrid is due to run until next summer, but it seems unlikely that he will represent Madrid again, leaving the Spanish giants with a huge issue ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
