Miyetti Allah complains to Police over missing 30 herdsmen, 322 cows in Anambra

The Police have received a written complaint from the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) over attacks on Fulanis in Anambra State.

The group made it clear that there has been increasing violence against herdsmen around Ayamelum, Anambra East, Orumba South, Dunukofia LGAs.

The MACBAN South Eastern Zone Chapter reported the matter to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, E Department, at the Force Headquarters.

The Zonal Chairman, Gidado Siddiki, who signed the letter, said the attacks resulted in casualties.

The formal complaint stated that 30 Fulani herders and 322 cows are missing.

“The lives of members of MACBAN are in danger in parts of these concerned communities.

“We therefore ask for your urgent interventions to forestall further loss of lives and properties,” it read.

For some time now there has been unexplained in Anambra, for instance, unidentified gunmen recently killed four policemen, after attacking two police stations in the State.
