Manchester City defeats Chelsea in the much publicized EPL duel

It was an unlucky day for Chelsea as it lost away at Etihad Stadium against Manchester City and could not even get a point on the Saturday night game.
The team coached by Frank Lampard happened to be the first to open scoring against Manchester City, through N’Golo Kante who steered an effort underneath Ederson.
But an unfortunate deflection from Kevin de Bruyne shot and the Algerian Riyad Mahrez effort gave Man City advantage before half-time and they continued to maintain the lead at 2-1 throughout the remaining second half of the game.
Despite the defeat Chelsea had more possession of the ball and with their performance they should have at least got a point from the match.
Mahrez made the difference and according to the Sky Sports pundits, you cannot make such mistakes against a team like Manchester City and get away with it.
Manchester United legend Roy Keane, who was on pundit duty in the studio, said after the game: “You give the ball away cheaply against Man City and you’re in trouble.
“There’s two players, are the communicating? The one place he can’t go is where he ends up. These are two experienced players, we’ve seen this guy do it over and over again, he cuts back in on his stronger foot and the good teams punish you.
“Football’s about moments and Chelsea get two moments wrong and they get punished”.
