Romelu Lukaku, the Inter Milan striker, has finally reacted to his ‘God’ celebration reportedly ‘aimed’ at AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Recall that tensions between Lukaku and Ibrahimovic have raged since a clash in last month’s Coppa Italia, during which both strikers nearly came to blows.
It was Lukaku who scored the third goal when Inter Milan thrashed their rivals AC Milan 3-0 in a Serie A derby clash at San Siro last Sunday.
The 27-year-old ran to the corner flag and shouted: “Dio, diooo,” which means God, in reference to Ibrahimovic, who has frequently referred to himself as a ‘God’ throughout his illustrious career.
However, the Belgium international has now addressed the drama in a Twitter Q&A with fans on Tuesday night.

Lukaku, who remained quiet on what was actually said, admitted that he might have got a little carried away during the derby clash.
When asked by a fan, @SheikhSadio, “What did u say after scoring the 3rd goal vs Milan #askLukaku.”
Lukaku replied, “Man, I talked a lot of shit, adrenaline, I guess.”
