Lukaku Scored twice as Inter Milan annihilated Shakhtar Donetsk’s 5-0

The Italian giants Inter Milan, Monday night defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0 in the semi final of the Europa League to go through to the Final of the competition.
Lautaro Martinez scored the first goal for inter at the Esprit Arena Dusseldorf, as he headed home a Barella’s cross in the 19th minute, before D’Ambrosio extended the lead.
Martinez added his second goal of the night with a nice finish before Lukaku’s two goals came in the 78th and 83rd minutes, which extended his Europa league goals to 10 matches.
Inter will now meet the five-time Europa League winners Sevilla, who also defeated Manchester United on Sunday to be at the Friday final.
Inter Milan’s 5-0 win was the biggest margin of victory ever in a single UEFA Cup/ Europa League semi-final game.
While this is Shakhtar Donetsk’s biggest defeat in Europe, since a 0-6 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League in November 2018

Inter Milan have won five consecutive matches in major European competition (excluding qualifiers) for the first time since April 2010 (a run of six starting in December 2009 on their way to the UEFA Champions League final).
Also Lautaro Martínez and Romelu Lukaku are the first two players to score 20+ goals each in a single season for Inter Milan since Adriano and Obafemi Martins in the 2004-05 campaign.
