Ronald Koeman the new manager of Barcelona has reportedly ruled out another loan exit for the Brazilian playmaker Philppe Coutinho this coming season.
Coutinho who spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Bayern Munich, was one of the pillars of the German club as he helped them achieve their famous treble triumph, with the Brazilian even scoring two goals against Barcelona during the 8-2 Champion League disgrace of Barca.
Coutinho is now back at Camp Nou ahead of the 2020-21 season, after Bayern turned down the chance to sign him on a permanent basis.
Already some teams have shown interest to sign the 28-year-old, with Premier League side Arsenal keen on getting him on a loan.
But according to Marca reports, Coutinho will be given a chance to fight for a first-team spot under new boss Koeman.
If a bigger offer is tabled, Barca’s stance could change, but they are not expecting that to happen.
