Kidnapped Owerri catholic Bishop finally released

The Auxiliary Catholic Bishop of Owerri, Rev Dr. Moses Chikwe, has finally been released.
The Imo State Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Orlando Ikokwu, while informing the public said he was released unhurt by a special operation of the police.
The Police PRO further disclosed that no ransom was paid for his release.
However, at the moment, there are no reports of any arrest of the kidnappers.
Recall that Bishop Chikwe was kidnapped along with his driver on Sunday night of 27th December at Owerri.
His car and official regalia were later found near the Assumpta Cathedral in Owerri.
The Christian Association of Nigeria CAN while reacting to the kidnap of the Bishop, called on the Kidnappers to release him unhurt and without ransom.
