The following article is actually directed to everyone, especially parents, because the lessons to be learnt from it can bring about a far better life.
This is a story of a very brilliant boy; he always scored 100% in the Sciences.
When he was selected for IIT, he also scored excellently in it.
He studied at a very prestigious University in the United States after which he settled there with a high paying job.
He married a girl of his dream in America, bought a five room big house and luxury cars.
As a matter of fact, he had everything that made him successful.
However, few years later, in an unfortunate and surprise move he committed suicide after shooting his wife and children.
While people were wandering what could have gone wrong, a renowned research Institute of Clinical Psychology studied his case and discovered what actually went wrong.
The researcher met the boy’s friends and family and found that he lost his job due to recent America’s economic crisis (COVID 19 Pandemic) and he had to stay without a job for several months.
It was gathered that even after reducing his previous salary, he still couldn’t get any job.
Then his house installment broke and he and his family lost the home.
They survived a few months with less money and then he and his wife together decided to commit suicide.
He first shot his wife and children and then shot himself.
More investigation into his life concluded that the man was Programmed for ‘success’ but was not ‘trained for handling failures’.
Now coming to the actual question: ‘What are the habits of highly successful people?’
First of all, have it in your mind that if you have achieved everything, there is also a possibility of losing everything; nobody knows when the next economic crisis will hit the world.
In fact, ‘the best success habit is getting trained for handling failures’.
To all the parents, please do not only program yourself and your child to be ‘successful’ but ‘teach them how to handle failures’ and also teach them proper lessons about life.
It is true that learning high-level science and mathematics will help them to clear competitive exams, but a very sound knowledge of life will help them to face every problem.
Teach them about how ‘money works’ instead of teaching them just to ‘work for money’.
Always try to help them in finding their passion because these degrees will not help them in the next economic crisis and we don’t know when the next crisis will hit the world.
In fact, ‘Success is a lousy teacher, while failure teaches you more serious lessons’.
