Guardiola reveals why Arsenal defeated Manchester city by 2-0

Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager, has formally reacted to the defeat of his team, he blamed his side’s slow start for their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in their FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.
Despite the fact that Manchester City club dominated possession for most of the game, it was the Gunners who scored twice in each half through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
With the defeat Guardiola’s side will not be able to win a domestic Treble like he did last season.
Speaking after the match at Wembley Guardiola said, “We started slow and without the way you have to play.
“We are always ready many times but today we were not.
“They defended well. It happened [when Arsenal played] against Liverpool too so we knew it. But we were not good.”
Guardiola will now prepare his team for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash against Real Madrid, where they hold a 2-1 lead.
