The English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed on Saturday that Gareth Bale has rejoined the club.
Bale, who joins from Real Madrid on a season-long loan, will wear the number 9 shirt.
The 31-year-old previously wore the number 11 shirt at White Hart Lane.
“We are delighted to announce the return of @GarethBale11 to the Club on a season-long loan from Real Madrid!” Tottenham’s official Twitter page tweeted.
Bale signed as a 17-year-old from Southampton in 2007.

He left for Madrid in a then world-record transfer and returned to North London after seven years.
He made 203 appearances for Spurs in all competitions before leaving in 2013, scoring 55 goals.
