Former Senator, Ben Bruce takes responsibility to reconcile Buhari, Kukah
Ben Bruce, a Former Senator, has offered to reconcile President Muhamadu Buhari and Bishop Hassan Kukah.
Recall that the Bishop of Sokoto Diocese has been under criticism from allies and supporters of the President following a message on Christmas Day where he slammed the President on appointments.
Kukah went further in the statement to say there would have been coup if the President had not been a Northerner Muslim.
However, other groups such as the Christian Association of Nigeria, Catholic Church, Middle Belt Leaders, among others have also backed Kukah.
Sen Bruce who represented Bayelsa Central in the 8th Assembly in a tweet on Monday said he would be willing to bring Buhari and Kukah together to understand each other.

“I’m Catholic, and so is Bishop Kukah. The religious faith in Nigeria is vital to our coexistence and must be seen as such. I, therefore, offer myself to bring together Bishop Kukah and President @MBuhari in the interest of Nigeria for a better understanding of each other,” he wrote.
