For the third consecutive day, Abuja tops list of confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria

Abuja, the Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has for the third consecutive day topped the list of states with new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has by late Saturday night, announced 386 new cases in 17 states and the FCT.
In the number of new cases announced, Abuja had 130 new infections, while Lagos was second with 65.
With the latest NCDC announcement, the total number of recoveries have now topped 20,000, that is, the number of discharged patients has risen from 19,565 to 20,087, while the fatality figure has increased from 879 to 883.
The country now has a total of 43,537 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
