EFCC yet to open up on whereabouts of ex-Abia gov Theodore Orji
It gathered that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) took in former Abia Governor, Theodore Orji, on Thursday.
He was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, but the commission parried a question on his whereabouts.
A source had informed a correspondent that he is still being held at the EFCC headquarters in Jabi.
EFCC Head of Media, Wilson Uwujaren revealed that the ex-governor was nabbed.
“I can confirm to you that he was picked up today at the airport”, he replied.

Asked if Orji is still with the anti-graft agency, the spokesman said he could not provide more details. “I’m not speaking more than that for now.”
Orji currently represents of Abia Central District in the National Assembly.
The Senator is reportedly under interrogation alongside his son, Chinedu, Abia State House of Assembly Speaker.
