DPR leader Denis Pushilin, accuses Ukraine of spreading fake news
As Russia continues in its effort to secure Donetsk region, Denis Vladimirovich Pushilin, a separatist leader and head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), speaks on issue of the ongoing war in Ukraine to the press.
While calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a puppet of the West, Denis said that the “Russian army will keep moving forward till we take the whole Donetsk region”.
When asked about the latest news of rockets that hit a railway station in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk.
Denis Pushilin said, “We constantly get such provocations from the Ukrainian army. They spread such fake information and news, you also must have heard of the attack on a maternity hospital and a drama theatre in Mariupol. When we liberated Mariupol, there was no confirmation of such crimes. Then there were reports about the city of Bucha and the latest provocations (allegations) from there. The first mass media that appeared at such places of provocation were from Great Britain. It was Sky News. They were also present at Kramatorsk today.
“As we know, Kramatorsk was hit by Tochka-U, a tactical missile system. I want to specify that this weapon is only used by Ukraine because for DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic), LPR (Luhansk People’s Republic) and Russia, it is already outdated. We do not use such weapons.
“Ukraine also hit our territories with these missiles. Since February 17, at least 24 such rockets have been shot down by us. On March 14, one fell in the centre of Donetsk as a result of which 21 persons were killed and 38 injured. It was shot down by our anti-missile system but one of the cluster bombs exploded.
“This (Kramatorsk incident) is happening because Ukraine wanted new pictures since Bucha is already outdated. They want something hot, something new, to maintain these tensions.
“They used these civilians as human shields”.
