Cascarino slams Man United as Worst team in history over Arsenal defeat
Tony Cascarino, a former Chelsea man, has described this Manchester United team as the worst in the club’s history.
This was after Manchester United’s top hopes were dashed on Saturday after they fell 3-1 to Arsenal at the Emirates.
The defeat left the Red Devils sitting sixth in the league on 54 points, six points behind Arsenal.
And Cascarino noted that with the defeat the Red Devils may not attain their 64 points which is their worst in history.
“Manchester United’s worst return in the Premier League is 64 points, and if they lose this game they might not reach that this season,” he said on talkSPORT.

“If they don’t, that would make this Manchester United team the worst Manchester United team in the history of the Premier League.”
However, with four matches remaining, Red Devils can still record 12 points, which could take them to 66 points but due to their poor run of results, there is no guarantee they can win four straight matches.
