Buhari promises never to attempt the mistake of ‘third term’
President Muhammadu Buhari while speaking at the opening of the ongoing National Executive Council meeting of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja made it very clear that he would not for any reason make the unconstitutional mistake of attempting a third term in office.
Buhari explained that age is no longer on his side and that he was limited by the two terms stated in the constitution.
According to him, “I’m not going to make the mistake of attempting a third term. Besides the age, the constitution makes provision for only two terms”.
