At last Ondo Governor Akeredolu wins APC primary

The much anticipated governorship primary of APC in Ondo have been held and the Governor of the State, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, has finally emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the October 10 governorship election in the state.

The declaration of the official result around 12.25am, show that Akeredolu won in all the local government areas of the state, defeating other seven contestants.

Akeredolu’s total votes polled was 2,458, while Chief Olusola Oke came second, having scored 262 votes. On the other hand,  Mr Isaac Kekemeke came third after polling 19 votes.
