A Northern Nigeria based group, the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expresses grief over the demise of officers and crew who died in the Air Force plane that crashed in Abuja, describing them as gallant for dying while serving their fatherland.
ACF on Monday condoled the Nigerian government, the Chief of Air Staff on the death of the officers in the Beechcraft KingAir B350i (NAF) plane.
The group’s National Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Yawe, who sent the condolence in a statement prayed that God would give their families and their military colleagues the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Recall that Seven persons onboard a Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft were confirmed dead by the Nigerian Air Force on Sunday, when the jet crashed in Abuja.
The Presidency later revealed on Sunday that the Air Force personnel who died in the plane crash were on a rescue mission for the abducted students of the Government Science College, Kagara.
