Ajax boss, Ten Hag gives Man Utd two conditions to take job
Erik Ten Hag, the Ajax manager, has given Manchester United two conditions before he takes the job at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has become the strong favourite to be installed as the next permanent manager of the Red Devils this summer.
But according to football journalist, Marcel van der Kraan, Ten Hag wants two guarantees.
Kraan said: “One of the two guarantees ten Hag wants is having a backroom staff which will fit him and Man Utd, and which will be good for him in terms of a total setup of changing the club’s philosophy and identity.”
Ten Hag also wants “guarantees with freedom on his management and players.”
United will pay a compensation package of around £1.6m, but that is likely to go beyond £2m once his staff are also factored in.
