Aisha Buhari taken to overseas for medical treatment

President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha has been taken to overseas for medical treatment, Daily Trust reports.
Her movement was as a result of persistent neck pain and she left Nigeria for Dubai, UAE over the Sallah weekend.
The neck pain is said to have started when she returned to Abuja from Lagos, where she had gone to pay a condolence visit to Florence Ajimobi, the widow of former Ogun state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
It could be recalled that Ajimobi died on June 25 after battling with COVID-19 complications.

After the Lagos trip, Aisha went into self-isolation for 14 days.
But unfortunately for her the neck pain became worse and a decision was taken for her to seek medical advice abroad.
At present she is in a stable condition and observing bed rest at an undisclosed hospital.
