After Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United, Mourinho discloses what happened to him

Jose Mourinho, the new Tottenham manager has disclosed that he stayed awake at the club’s training ground after the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday, preparing for Saturday’s match against Burnley.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United coach stayed at Hotspur Way in Enfield after his side was thrashed 2-1 on his return to Old Trafford.
Speaking during a pregame press conference on Friday, Mourinho said, “After a defeat you cannot be sad. You have to be more than that. You have According to be raging, angry, not sad”.
Recall that the defeat at Old Trafford was Tottenham’s first under Mourinho, who had already won three games.
Tottenham will be hosing Burnley at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.
According to Mourinho, “I didn’t go home, so the next morning at eight o’clock I was here doing what? Burnley.
“Analysing Burnley, trying to organise the training session, trying to organise the meeting, choosing the clips to show them the most clear possible way Burnley works.
“That’s the way you have to do it in football. Don’t accept in a passive way.”
As at now Tottenham are eighth in the Premier League with five wins, five losses and five draws this season, while Burnley is 12th.
Speaking further Mourinho said, “It’s obvious we have problems but we have players with quality, a great human dressing room.
“I like the guys very much but we need to change that feeling of feeling sorry about our mistakes and feeling sad with our bad results”.
