8 states in Nigeria record 365 new COVID-19 cases, 8 dead
365 people have been infected by to COVID-19 within the last 24 hours in Nigeria, while eight have lost their lives.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC), confirmed this in its daily update about the pandemic in the country.
This brings Nigerian’s COVID-19 caseload to 199,151.
Statistics from the NCDC indicates that Lagos has 209 of the new cases, followed by Ondo with 88, FCT-31, Rivers-16, Ebonyi-11, Kaduna-6, Ekiti-3, while Plateau recorded 1 case.
186,418 treated cases have been discharged, while the death toll is now 2,598.
